Three variety of sweet potatoes – white, orange and purple

Sweet potatoes are edible tubers formed from the roots of a perennial vine. Their high sugar content, fluffy and moist texture make them popular for savoury as well as sweet applications. Also called Kumera, sweet potatoes are a highly nutritious food. Always served cooked, they can be baked, boiled or fried and also work well in soups, desserts, mash, stews and braise dishes.
