       About the course

  • Learn new culinary skill and technique that you can use everyday and create mouth-watering dishes to impress your family and friends. Classes are informative and fun.
  • We conduct a wide range of classes to suit all skill levels, from an enthusiastic amateur cook to a professional chef, the recipes are tried and tested, simple to follow and easily adapted to home kitchens.
  • A vast array of Asian cuisines and cooking styles are covered, such as Classic Thai, Chinese “Wok” shop, Malaysian cuisine, Nonya cuisine, Laksa, Singaporean chilli crab, Dim Sum, 4-course Peking duck, Noodles, Hainanese Chicken Rice and more.
  • We offer participants an opportunity to delve into the amazing world of Asia, learn to select & use fresh herbs and spices, learn to make curry pastes from scratch, use  seasonal Asian produce and learn to identify exotic Asian ingredients.
  • Throughout the class, there will be plenty of tips, short cuts, advice on shopping for the right cuts of meat, seafood and seasonal produce.
  • While the classes have a set topic, we can also customise subjects specifically to the needs of groups or individuals.
  • Private lessons can also be arranged in the comfort of your home for individual or groups.

      Class Format

  • Demonstration class only. Offers an intimate approach. Seated and relaxed, participants are encouraged to touch, smell and taste individual ingredients to familiarise with them. Everyone gets to sample the dishes and take home if there are any leftovers!
  • Demonstration and part hands-on class. Participants are encouraged to join in the preparation and cooking process.
  • Full hands-on workshop. Working together in pair or small groups.
  • Classes are small (limited to 8 students) to enhance maximum interactive learning experience.

      Terms and Conditions:

  • Registration and payment are required to confirm your place and must be receive before classes commence. Places cannot be held on reserve. All fees include ingredients, recipes and GST.
  • All payments received will be issued with a receipt which confirms your enrolment. Receipt must be retained as ticket to class.
  • Please keep the confirmed class date in your diary as no further reminder will be issued.
  • Classes will not proceed if minimum bookings are not reached. You will be given options if a class is postponed or cancelled. You will be advised by phone, text or email.
  • No refund will be forwaded on class not attended. Another person may replace you or be transferred to another class, if more than 7 days notice is given, and subject to seat availability. Alternatively class recipes will be send to you.
  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to commencement of class.
  • We cannot accomodate dietary requirements in all cases and please be aware of your allergies to certain food. The chef cooks and uses nut products.
  • Gift vouchers are only to be used for the period indicated.
