Cekur leaves
The leaves are used like any other fresh herbs, finely shredded and used in many Malay & Nonya dishes eg, the traditional nasi ulam (rice salad), perut ikan(type of Nonya curry) . The roots are blended with other fresh spices to cook curries and used in marinades.
